I retired nearly 4 years ago, and moved to Shropshire. It was my intention to do some voluntary work, whilst also embarking on new hobbies.
With this in mind, I joined an art class and started off using water colour paints, also trying pastels along the way, and then I found coloured pencils and have never looked back.
Mainly self taught, I have developed my skills over the last couple of years, and whilst I still have a lot to learn, was fortunate enough to sell some of my work at the Church Stretton Art Exhibition in 2015 and 2016.
I use Faber Castell Polychromos pencils which I love, and I recently invested in the Albercht Durer watercolour set which I have just started to use.
I have always loved animals and gain much pleasure from being able to recreate beautiful photographs using coloured pencils.
