Elisabeth Aubury UKCPS Silver

Elisabeth AurburyBorn in Lichfield, Staffordshire, Elisabeth cannot remember a time when she did not love flowers and plants. After leaving school she gained an NCH at Pershore College of Horticulture and for the last 25 years has run her own nursery specialising in alpine and rock garden plants.

Elisabeth began Botanical Illustration ten years ago, gaining an HNC in Botanical Illustration in 1999 at Birmingham University's School of Continuing Studies. She is a founder member of the Birmingham Society of Botanical Artists and a signature member of the UK Coloured Pencil Society.

She particularly enjoys working with coloured and graphite pencils, often illustrating alpines and bulbous plants in this medium. Elisabeth has exhibited regularly at the U.K.C.P.S. annual exhibitions and with the B.S.B.A. exhibitions around the country. She has also exhibited at the Society of Botanical Artists open exhibition in London.
