Sheila Cunningham

My name is Sheila Cunningham I live in Macclesfield in Cheshire, I belong to two Art Groups within my area, Poynton Community Art Group and Bollington Art Group, of which I have the honour of being the current chairman.

I have always loved art in various mediums and I have worked and exhibited in oils, pastel, Watercolour, acrylic and recently Pencils, a medium I really enjoy.

Unfortunately there are no groups in my area that specialise in coloured Pencils and was very happy to be advised of UKCPS and made a conscious effort to visit your stand at Patchings from where I immediately joined.

I don't specialise in any particular subject or have any particular style I like to push myself and paint or draw what ever takes my eye from portraits, still life, flora and fauna, period doors and buildings and animals.

I am still very new to colour pencil and am always trying different techniques and am very open to any advice on how to get the best out of my Pencils.

Pictures are on 300gm watercolour paper, 28 x 30cm unframed.
