Emma Kerridge

My name is Emma L. Kerridge and I am a self-taught wildlife artist. I use coloured pencils, primarily Prismacolor Premium and Faber-Castell Polychromo, to bring my work to life. I have a degree in Biology and Geology and a Research Masters in Biology and have loved wildlife since I was small. This fuels the main focus of my artwork. I have dabbled in many other mediums but have grown fascinated with the effects that coloured pencils can produce. I am forever striving to learn more techniques to push my art further. Based in Suffolk, I show my work at local exhibitions and craft fairs and am very happy to do commissions. I create prints and cards from my original artwork and these are available to buy through the online Elkie Shop. I am also a UK stockist of Prismacolor Premier Coloured Pencils.

Barn Owl: 30cm wide by 50cm high
Peacock: 21cm wide by 30cm high
Sandy Hare: 14.5cm wide by 20cm high

These were all done with Prismacolor Premier and Faber-Castell Polychromo Coloured Pencils: the Peacock and Barn Owl drawn on Fabriano 5 Paper, and the Sandy Hare on Mi-Teintes Pastel Paper.
